The Buckhorn Group was founded in 2023 by Parker Briden.

As Chief of Staff to Governor Reeves of Mississippi, Briden managed state government through the largest economic development deal in state history, the largest tax cut in state history, the Jackson water crisis, the Mississippi-Dobbs litigation, historic natural disasters, and COVID-19. At 27, Briden was the youngest Governor’s Chief of Staff in the country.

Briden has served as a senior leader in government and high-profile statewide political campaigns in Missouri, Mississippi, Nevada, and Ohio.

As a campaign operative and communications professional, Briden crafted storytelling opportunities and managed countless crises including indictments, historic natural disasters, intimate scandals, and large-scale riots.
